This is a benefit concert being brought to you by Amber Brand for the restoration projects at the theatre. All proceeds will go to the 7th Street Theatre.

A little girl discovers dreams do come true if you really believe. Six-year-old Susan has doubts about childhood’s most enduring miracle – Santa Claus. Her mother told her the “secret” about Santa a long time ago, so Susan doesn’t expect to receive the most important gifts on her Christmas list. But after meeting a special department store Santa who’s convinced he’s the real thing, Susan is given the most precious gift of all – something to believe in.

It’s Christmas time and the Griswolds are preparing for a family seasonal celebration, but things never run smoothly for Clark, his wife Ellen and their two kids. Clark’s continual bad luck is worsened by his obnoxious family guests, but he manages to keep going knowing that his Christmas bonus is due soon.

NYPD cop John McClane goes on a Christmas vacation to visit his wife Holly in Los Angeles where she works for the Nakatomi Corporation. While they are at the Nakatomi headquarters for a Christmas party, a group of bank robbers led by Hans Gruber take control of the building and hold everyone hostage, with the exception of John, while they plan to perform a lucrative heist. Unable to escape and with no immediate police response, John is forced to take matters into his own hands.

Music Teachers Showcase

The concert will feature both solo and ensemble performances, including piano, strings, guitar, woodwinds, and voice.

Merry Jo Zimmer (piano), Karen Meikle (violin), and Jenny Leighton (cello) will perform two movements from Trio for Violin, Cello and Piano by Cecile Chaminade. Meikle, Leighton, and Zimmer will also perform with Maggie Curley (flute) in a string trio by Quantz.

Violinist Debra Akerlund, accompanied by Merry Jo Zimmer, will perform Mozart’s Sonata in A Major for violin and piano, and Connie Bevington and Dee Broussard will perform a flute duet, accompanied by Merry Jo Zimmer.

Mezzo-soprano Joy Dorsch, a voice teacher, will perform a duet with Kari Hasbrouck, a duet with her husband, tenor Ian Dorsch, and a voice/violin duet with Karen Meikle. Voice and piano teacher Kari Hasbrouck will also perform a solo, and voice and piano teacher Christine Hill will perform a vocal solo and a duet with Aberdeen High School choir teacher JR Lakey, accompanied by Aaron Nickell (guitar). Piano teachers Ellen Pickell, Nikkol Daniels, and Erica Hollen will perform piano solos.

HHS Veterans Day Concert

Josh Gracin is coming to Hoquiam, Washington on Tuesday, November 10th for a special acoustic show at the 7th Street Theatre presented by KIX 95.3 and NahPro Entertainment. The American Idol star, accompanied by his guitarist, will perform top songs from Gracin’s repertoire including the #1 country music single “Nothin’ To Lose” and Top 5 country hits “Stay With Me” and “I Want To Live”. The acoustic duo is hitting the road throughout the Pacific Northwest in November to reconnect with his fan base and promote upcoming new music for 2016. Since Josh Gracin is a former U.S. Marine, the tour includes special event dates celebrating the U.S. Marine Corps’ birthday (at 7th Street Theatre) and Veteran’s Day (Nov 11). –Tickets are $10/each.
