Three teenagers are picked up by sheriff’s deputies on a APB for a gas station holdup in Tacoma. On the way to the sheriff’s station the deputies are overpowered and taken hostage.

The teens force Sgt. Steve Walsh (David Janssen) to lead them through the Oregon forest in an attempt to escape. But forest fires rage all around them – and the ring of fire is closing in.

The film is set in Oregon. But the burning bridge collapse scene was filmed on the Wynoochee River in Grays Harbor.

Starring David Janssen, Joyce Taylor, and Frank Gorshin.
