Post World War II, two song-and-dance men (Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye) team up to become one of the hottest acts in show business.

Singers Bob Wallace (Crosby) and Phil Davis (Kaye) soon meet the Haynes sisters, Betty (Rosemary Clooney) and Judy (Vera-Ellen). The sister act is booked to perform at a ski lodge in Pine Tree, Vermont. Wallace and Davis join them.

Once at the lodge, they run into General Waverly (Dean Jagger). He was the fellas’ commander in World War II. The foursome soon learns that the General is having financial difficulties. His quaint country lodge is failing. Even worse – there’s no snow.

Phil and Judy play Cupid with Bob and Betty. Meanwhile, Bob and Phil plan a yuletide two-fer: a Broadway-level show at the lodge that’s sure to bring in customers and a surprise reunion for their whole combat division!

Punctuated by a classic Irving Berlin score, romantic mishaps ensue while everyone dreams of a white Christmas.

Starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, Vera-Ellen and Dean Jagger.
