Volunteers
The 7th Street Theatre is maintained and operated by volunteer labor ~ we couldn't do it without the support of our community. We welcome anyone to contribute! If you're ready to become a volunteer, please don't hesitate to contact us. We'd love it if you could lend a hand. If you're able to spend a few hours a week or a month doing some dedicated, hard-work for the theatre, we have a spot saved for you. A few of the people we've loved working with recently (or look forward to working!): Building helpers: Electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, plasterers - basically anything to do with building and repairs. Even if you just want to help paint! Event helpers: We can always use help at our events with ticket-taking, ticket-selling, concessions, ushers and extra help. Poster team: We desperately need people who would be willing to distribute event posters in the Westport and Ocean Shores areas. We also want people with access and time to distribute posters in schools, offices, and around town. Join our energetic poster team! Technical assistants: Experienced people are needed who have worked with sound equipment and lighting or are interested in learning. Live arts committee: If you are interested in getting involved in our live arts performance choices and management, please contact Ray Kahler by email or telephone at 533-2710. Grant writer: An experienced grant writer (or someone with good writing ability with an interest in grant writing) is needed to help with the Theatre's fundraising efforts. |
