More Candlestick Sign Progress

We’re getting closer to a new candlestick sign. Company rep Todd Mros from the company who will be constructing the sign, Ramsay Signs, met with us a few weeks ago. Todd brought in the neon and paint samples as you can see here. He strongly suggested that we paint a large piece of cardboard and hold it up against the building to make sure we will be satisfied with this color. It’s going to be awesome, we all liked it. On September 18, 2010, volunteers and board members removed the original Douglas Fir tongue & groove flooring. The original floor had seen better days and had become a safety hazard to performers. It was replaced with maple. The front 8 feet of the stage still has the original maple flooring.
