This 1954 Mystery/Thriller stars James Stewart as photojournalist "Jeff" Jeffries, who is confined to a wheelchair with a broken leg. The entire story takes place in the courtyard adjoining the rear of his apartment, all events being seen through his eyes. Jeff believes that a murder has been committed by his neighbor Lars Thorwald (Raymond Burr) and sends his girlfriend Lisa (Grace Kelly) and his nurse Stella (Thelma Ritter) to investigate. At the time the set was the largest indoor set built at Paramount Studios.

The results are in!Twenty-five of the Harbor’s most talented young vocalists, pianists, dancers, and instrumentalists have been chosen to perform Friday, May 2 at 7:30 at the 2008 “Young Artist Showcase.”
As usual, the program will feature a wide range of musical styles, including classical, popular music, and jazz.Each performer will perform one selection.
The 2008 Young Artists Showcase will feature the vocal ensembles Triple Threat (Laura Hill, Lacey Goble, and Kathleen Esses) and the Hoquiam High School Shower Singers (Jerrod Phelps, Kaleb Blume, David Cummings, and Jordan Bridges), the Hoquiam High School “Drumbone” percussion group (Ben Protheroe, Colby Black, and Brandon Walker), percussionist Ben Protheroe, dancers Kohlby Sayler and Lyric Perry, pianists Laurel Backholm, Carly Bouma, Jonathan Gerber, Eun Hee Kim, and Savannah Hieronymus, the flute duo of Sheri and Tiffany Ostreich, and vocalists Cora Foss, Rebekah Hadley, Austin Lenz, Alice McPheters, Dustyn Moir, and Shay Shelton.
The concept of the program is to give outstanding music students from local schools and private studios an opportunity to perform before a wider audience, and to give members of the community an opportunity to hear these outstanding musicians.
